For these games to work on Your Wii - You must have it with a special software tool OR a has to be present in your console to bypass copy protection. If you have one of the above you can play games from SD card, DVD-R or USB HD Drive.Full Wii Game Download ISO will be 4.37 GB big, but there are 'scrubbed' versions of the backup with padding space from the DVD removed. Normally they work just as well as the full / unaltered backup, but can save you time ans space when downloading. So a much easier and faster way to get a working backup of your Wii Games is by downloading a ready made Wii ISO from the net and using image burning software to copy it to DVD-R.
Probably won't happen. After the 16-bit era, Nintendo systems have always had a shortage of good fighting games. What Capcom should do is release Street Fighter 4 using an upgraded Tatsunoko vs Capcom engine for the Wii and bundle it with a 2 Player arcade style joystick and sell it for $80 or 90 bucks.

All in just a couple of easy steps.
Check out this article. This is BS!!! If this is possible on a mobile platform, then it can be done on the Wii and it would look better than this! This goes to show that, if developers really want to put something on a platform and make it reasonable-they can! Imagine how much better this would look if developers placed this on the Wii, espcially considering the Wii has the CC controller, GC controller support, as well as an arcade stick.Yes Wii owners have Tatsunoko vs.
Capcom which is tons of awesome-it plays and looks great. However, don't tell us that Street Fighter 4 can't be done on the Wii. I mean this looks good for a mobile game, and Street Fighter 4 can be placed on the Wii without looking like an eyesore. Yea not the best situation. But I think that ur right with ppl being scared of the wii, I mean if u think about it street fighter games have always had a controller with the control stick and buttons on the side, so transfering it to the wiimote may have seemed like not that great of an idea for designers. After all the ppl who would be most interested in the games would be old gamers (not saying that new ones wouldn't be to), then the CC or GC controller idea may seem good but then u run the risk of less ppl buyin cuz they bought the wii for the new controller, then many more would half to buy the CC or GC just to play it which would turn alot away also. It upsets me too but I come to a point of understanding about it.
Yeah, its probably because they are afraid of the market. I couldn't get any sales numbers for TvC, but VGChartz (I know, please bear with me) reports sales of only 140,000. While we all know VGChartz is not completely accurate, I doubt the actual sales stray far from this number.
The thing is, big blockbusters need big sales to continue. A game like SF4 was made to sell in the millions, or at least close, not in the a hundred thousands. Capcom might toss us a bone after they made a large enough profit that launching SF4 to complete commercial failure won't affect them as much.
For me, I'm just waiting for SSF4 for the PC. I think a big problem with SF4 for the Wii is that its already on the 360 and PS3 and those versions are superior in a few crucial ways, online being a big one, another controls. With that being said alot of gamers interested in SF4 who own a Wii most likely also own a 360/PS3 and would go for that version anyways! That being said the market for SF4 on the Wii is to small to warrant the production costs to port it.
You could look up TVC sales numbers to fight this assessment but its kinda irrelevant as it isn't multiplat so the 360/PS3 cant steal vital consumers. I play TVC all the time online and my connection is fluid. The only thing that sets the Wii's online structure back are Friend Codes and very few developers (except for Capcom with TVC and EA) offer a way to get around friend codes. However, as far as a smooth connection, voice chat and even downloadable content (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Virtual Console, WiiWare, Smash Bros Brawl) are concerned-the Wii can handle it!!!The problem is that developers are not putting enough into such features, thus people (like you) assume or don't even know that the Wii can handle such online features. The only thing the Wii surely lacks compared to HD consoles are graphics, but there are some nice looking Wii games that don't look like an eyesore.

It lacks the same experience that you get on the other consoles, I'd really have to go into details but if you've ever player on the other online systems you'd know instantly that the Wii is pretty far behind. But for the sake of disscussion I'll list a few details.
For one SF4 had a cool new online feature in which you could play a single player arcade mode and randomly get chalenged by online players as if in an arcade. Could the wii do this? I'd find it hard to believe as the Wii's online system (unike the others) isn't always active. In other words if you want to connect to NWFC you have to acess it through the menu in a game and the watch it connect to the internet VS the other systems where as soon as you turn your system your already logged in and have full acess to freinds ect. And are able to get challenged to a game wherever you are.As for voice chat, I usually dont care but with 1 on 1 fighting games I find it pretty importnat as I've made a ton of freinds when you play some one 1 on 1, it gives you a nice oppurtunity to make good conversation and freinds that I would add and replay later. Can you talk to stragers on the Wii?
Can you then add them to a list and message/invite them to play again? Last time I checked no so I would cross those features out. I mean this looks good for a mobile game, and Street Fighter 4 can be placed on the Wii without looking like an eyesore.Tri-Enforcer is true, but it has nothing with the system power, is just that is a very cheap(cash-in) venture to make SF4 game for mobiles, will feel not at all like the HD game(except the name). At the other hand, releasing for wii demands more effort since is a system that can replicate most of the original experience, and it would be much more expensive therefore. It could happen but the risk is higher. There is a reason why Microsoft charges for online service. Their server handles more streaming data than the other two combined, due to headsets and the number of online streaming games and players for those games, etc.It seems like abit of a slap in the face at first to not only see a handheld get this game, but an i-phone app, but as stated above, you have to stop and look at this. Capcom developed TvC for this system, probably because they wanted to make due with sale figures of a fighting game on all of the consoles, but didn't want to water down a home console. The Wii is currently the only current/ new console that I own, but I am not dissapointed about having an exclusive over a port. I'll take the exclusive any day over any port. There are more reasons for me to give in and buy a PS3 than not, but money is an important factor for me right now, because I am self employed and it's tax season.
Maybe later on, I'll pick one up and play, but for now TvC is awesome. Sales that would have gone to SF 4 for the Wii are going to TvC instead. Capcom already said somewhere that TvC style games are coming to the Wii and SF specific games are going to the 360 and PS3. I'm honestly perfectly fine with that and this is why, seeing as how Capcom said the Wii will get the vs series games, that means that if Marvel vs Capcom3, a new Capcom Vs SNK and whatever otherCapcom vs titlescomes out, it will be Wii Exclusive.
Also, seeing as how TvC is WAAAYYYY more fun than SF4 any day of the week, I'm perfectly fine with the other consoles getting SF4.Also, True, it does suck that they could've made SF4 on the Wii but that would've most likely meant that the other consoles would've gotten the superior version of TvC which would've pissed me off much more than this news. Well first off, the wii remote wouldn't even be usable for SFIV, only 4 buttons, when you need 6, adding the nunchuk wouldn't work, because you would still only have 4 buttons, (you holding the wii remote near the 1 and 2 buttons, and using the 2 buttons on the nunchuk =no access to the A or B buttons). And cutting out 2 buttons would change SFIV a fair bit. SFIV just isn't very compatible with SF games.
Sure, the vs series works due to having only Medium and Heavy buttons, but not SF. Oh and, capcom wouldn't just make it for gamecube, classic, and fight stick controls, they would wind up cutting out a 4th of their market by doing so.

They can still do what they did with TvC to SFIV in terms of control. You'll notice that if you play with the Wii remote sideways or with the nunchuck attached, you can perform specials much easier in TvC (but there are some moves that you can't pull off).
The same can be done with SFIV regardless of if it was meant for 6 buttons-you'll just be pulling off supers alot easier. However, the 'real players' can use the GC or CC controller-for six button action. But why would anyone want to play with 6 buttons, if they can just play with 4. Nobody would choose to play the harder version, so it wouldn't be nearly as competitive, like TvC.
But the reason it isn't nearly as competitive is mainly due to it being the vs series. AlElric what did you say?TVC not as much even tho it has more techs just because you got more buttons?FYI you are biased. More hit buttons =dont make a game any more competitive. TVC is a faster game with more mobility to start off, it makes up for that big time.
